Roberto Clemente

Roberto Clemente taught and teaches graphic design, visual communication and art direction at Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) in Torino and at Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti (NABA) in Milan.

Opened in 1998 as a creative studio specialised in graphic design, over time Bellissimo ended up playing in the wider arena of large agencies with domestic and international advertising accounts. They now help leading global brands reach their targets, providing a comprehensive communication style: a powerful blend of visual and conceptual inputs.
Bellissimo's business core is communication, ironic and demythologized, haunting and surreal.
Their ground-breaking approach to event design, based on participant interaction and experience, lead to a number of public occasions where the outpour of images, sounds, and emotions was able to leave a lasting impression on the audience, making a case for the value of design and architecture and their role in the city. Spanning across graphic identity, design, copywriting, naming, film, photography, publishing, Bellissimo’s work was often applauded as a motor of innovation in each of these fields. Just as progressive is the way all these different media were connected to create a consistent communication style: witty, sleek, and focused on creating a sense of community.
